Scavengers are tenacious and deadly bug-like creatures. As pack hunters, they tend to appear in very large groups at key areas around Mount Grimrock, making up for their relatively diminutive size and low damage output with sheer numbers. Experienced adventurers shouldn't be surprised when they end up surrounded by a dozen or more of these monsters. Two Scavengers may travel together, taking up one tile.
In Legend of Grimrock, Scavengers are first encountered after completing the Scroll Puzzle in Level 4's central room. When the stairs to Level 5 are opened, walls on each side of the room will open as well, releasing a total of eighteen Scavengers.
